hot water not getting hot in bath tub or shower?

i get hot water in all my sinks kitchen bath guest bath, but not in tub or shower just replaced the shower head and faucet but it still gets only luke warm any suggestions.

It usually looks like a plastic ring around the valve with few possible positions.
You need to take the faucet valve out and adjust it to let hotter water run out of faucet.
